Ahoy fellow veterans, my name is Dave Reasons and I currently reside in North Alabama.
I was in the Navy (64-68) during the Vietnam Era having served aboard the USS Bausell DD-845, a Gearing(Fram) class Destroyer, for you swab jockeys out there, this is known as a "Fram Can." After sea duty, I was stationed at the Sanford Naval Air Station till separation. My rate and rating were E-4, a 3rd Class Disbursing Clerk. I'm currently a member of the Tin Can Sailors Association, an early member of the Tokin Gulf Yacht Club, and Reunion Coordinator/Planner for my ship the USS Bausell DD-845
A couple of years after leaving active duty, I was employed by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and retired from TVA in 1999 as Southwest Territory Manager in the Material Management Group. Since that time my wife and I have owned two businesses and then I spent five years working at Home Depot selling appliances.
Nowadays, I'm involved with building and maintaining websites for different customers and for YMRC.
